Kranz

Dave Kranz has a classic line this morning: "Some say [Thune] probably went to school to sharpen his tone." First, this is completely untrue. But here's a more important matter. WHO SAYS? Allow me to answer: the Daschle camp. Note that when something controversial is mentioned that may not help Daschle--hey, I realize it's very hard to remember articles like that--Kranz says "Thune advisors say," in order to discredit it. He doesn't do that with the Daschle camp. Also, during the dust-up over Daschle losing his post as leader Kranz said "Thune advisors" were saying Daschle could lose his post. NO--liberals and liberal magazines were saying that.
