Dog Fight

Several weeks ago John Thune helped the governor navigate the federal bureaucracy and a plan was put in place to control prairie dogs in western South Dakota. Ranchers despise the prairie dogs for many reasons and they are swarming all over western South Dakota. Now the liberal environmental groups are helping the prairie dogs to fight back by sending in their lawyers and filing suit against the new plan. These are the same groups that support Daschle and the Democrats in Congress. Believe me, the ranchers understand the connection.
