Is there anything Daschle doesn't claim credit for?

A South Dakota woman just wrote in:

I just saw Daschle's new commercial taking credit for distance education. That is ludicrous!!! The millions spent by the State taxpayers and the leadership and vision of Gov. Janklow (and continued by Gov. Rounds) have made us leaders in the country for K-20 distance education. I just attended an e-learning summit and there are many heroes behind the story of distance education in SD. Tom Daschle is not one of them--and if he is, he is way down on the bottom of the list. Certainly there has been some federal money, but for Daschle to take credit is such hypocrisy. Can you tell that this commercial "got to me"? How do we counteract Daschle's arrogance taking credit for so much of the work done by South Dakotans?

Well, since there is no scrutiny from the Argus, how about attending the blog conference??
