Compare the story in today's Rapid City Journal by Denise Ross to the one in the Argus Leader by Dave Kranz. First, Kranz leaves out all of the information about the reactions of Randy Frederick, Congressman Tom Reynolds, Congressman Eric Cantor, and the Family Policy Council. Ross includes all that information. Second, Kranz says this: "A television ad compared Johnson to Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein." As if it's fact! It's not fact. It's completely untrue. And Ross included a proper response to Johnson's absurd claims. Third, Kranz finds a professor to say this whole flap won't matter, as if to let Johnson off the hook. Let's just say the Ross story today is much, much better journalism than the Kranz story.
